China National Day 2024 (Golden Week Holiday)

October 1 is the National Day of the People's Republic of China, the most important holiday in China.The founding of the People's Republic of China is an important milestone for the Chinese people and the Chinese living overseas. This period serves as a significant symbol for the nation, marking the establishment of new China and gaining particular importance over time.

The first seven days of October are known as Golden Week. During this season, travel and leisure activities vary across different regions in China.Residents from urban areas often venture to rural locations to unwind and appreciate the tranquility.Additionally, individuals from cities frequently journey to other urban centers throughout China to participate in various celebrations. Beijing stands out as the focal point for major National Day events, with large-scale festivities held annually at Tiananmen Square.

Festival Activities Celebrating China's National Day:

Military Parade:

During the annual parade, the President of China leads in a vehicle, followed by a grand formation of Chinese soldiers marching on foot and in vehicles. This event commemorates another decade of the People's Republic of China's existence.

Lights and Decorations:

Each year on National Day, businesses and institutions adorn their premises with lanterns and banners displaying "Happy National Day" along with other celebratory slogans.

National Day Holiday:

The holiday period for National Day lasts for seven days.

Flag Raising Ceremony:

On every National Day, the national flag of the People's Republic of China is raised promptly at 6:10 AM.

In addition to patriotic celebrations, National Day in China is also a time for people to enjoy being with their families.This helps eliminate the stress of work and helps make sure that families remain close as people pursue their own goals.

In observance of these celebrations, our office activities will be suspended from October 1st to 7th.   However, our production operations will continue as usual to ensure that all commitments and delivery deadlines are met as planned.
